Caldara di Manziana is a place where you can feel the breath of the earth through bubbling pools. An ancient swamp surrounded by oak and birch forests that make it a natural monument. Manziana takes its name from the Etruscan god of the underworld Manth due to the impenetrable aspect of the forest and the presence of pools of sulphurous water, once considered an emanation of the underground world.
